Rothschild & Co Merchant Banking, the private equity arm of the Rothschild & Co group, which is currently developing rapidly (from € 2 billion in assets under management in 2010 to more than € 17 billion today), is looking for an Investment Associate based in Paris. The Associate will be assigned to assist the investment team of the Five Arrows Secondary Opportunities Fund ("FASO").
FASO is dedicated to the "secondary" private equity market with a developed expertise and presence in Europe, and since 2019, has expanded to take advantage of the US secondary private equity market opportunity. The investment strategy is focused on small and mid-cap secondary transactions and covers the entire span of the private equity asset class, including buyout, expansion capital and growth technology transactions. Investment professionals gain exposure to a broadly diversified portfolio across industries, geographies, vintages, managers and stages of maturity.
This position demands excellent communications skills, strong analytical insight and financial modeling capabilities, perseverance and creativity in accessing and processing information, an innovation-driven mindset, the ability to balance multiple tasks, but most importantly, the ability to work effectively in a cross-borders, team environment and a passion for private equity investing.
