POSITION OVERVIEW

Over the past few years, we have successfully implemented SAP at most of our sites in the Americas, and we have learned a lot about how we can effectively make the change to a new ERP system that will enable us to dramatically improve the way H.B. Fuller does business. This will require additional resources committed to the Team across all streams.

Successful candidates should display our key competencies, be able to work in a collaborative environment, have strong communication skills to coach and train others, be willing to travel extensively globally, trouble shoot, analyze root causes, have the ability to champion new ways of doing things. They will report to the Project Stream lead and will have several peers in similar roles and candidates could be selected from any region.

PRIMARY DUTIES

The role of this position is to support the Project ONE team and the business by providing guidance to process improvements; design, facilitate and evaluate training effectiveness; provide direct system testing support.

The position will work closely with the deployment waves across the globe and will serve as one of the primary stream resources. This role will work closely with the Project ONE Training Manager to ensure consistency of training, assessment and delivery and will report to and partner with the Project Stream Leads and deployment site personnel to ensure end users and superusers are trained and ready to assume full responsibility for SAP within their functional area. The position will set up processes and protocols for capturing, storing and sharing knowledge with the team and Training Manager to ensure previously trained super users are provided refresher training and tools.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

  • 5 years experience working an inventory management/transport logistic role
  • Experience with training and people development
  • Experience with inventory, warehouse and transportation business process design and improvement
  • Familiarity with Enterprise processes and systems, SAP strongly preferred
  • Project management experience as a contributor on large scale projects preferred
  • Preferred degree and experience facilitating meetings/training for various constituents
  • Fluent in English

PHYSICAL ENVIRONMENT

  • 50+% travel required to include international
  • Comfortable in a manufacturing plant or lab environment
