For our headoffice in Hamburg we are currently looking for a
Process Engineer for Technical Standard Development & Handling of External Interfaces (m/f/d)
Keeping Oiltanking mandatory Technical Standards (OTTS) up to date and develop them further
Being the interface between Central Engineering Department and an external engineering company while drawing works for either feasibility studies or conceptual design studies for new projects are to be developed
Development and maintaining Oiltanking’s Document Management Data Bank if it comes to Central Engineering Department (CED) matters up to date and be the interface between profit centres and corporate centre in case of questions. Managing and converting the CED standards into M Files.
Update or develop own AutoCAD drawings for technical standards or concepts been developed internally
Keep Oiltanking’s internal Connect platform up to date, share information and organise forum discussions
Analyse daily HSSE alerts for potential technical follow ups within CED
Support in developing e-learning modules explaining technical matters
Keep track of Oiltanking’s global tank capacity overview changes
Prepare calculations, specifications and diagrams for new builds or expansion projects following OT Technical Standards and best practices recognized internationally
Master Degree in Process Engineering, ideally with an Oil & Gas background
Several years of experience in engineering works
Good knowledge of the industry standards and practices relevant to process design and safety
Ideally work experience in an international multi-cultural background
Open mindedness and positive attitude
English both written and spoken, German and Spanish preferably, too
Advanced skills in Microsoft Office and AutoCAD/VISIO
Process design experience with technical drawings, ‘as built’ reviews, SmartPlant P&ID and SmartPlant Instrumentation
