Sr Process Engineer Location: Co. Cork Contract Term: Permanent Adecco are currently looking for a talented and motivated Sr. Process Engineer with at least 5 years of experience ideally in the Pharma industry, who's interested in joining a high tech solutions company specialized in vessels for the Pharma and F&B industry based in Co. Cork. This is a permanent opportunity with the company that offers an interesting remuneration and benefits package. Reporting to: Technical Manager Roles & Responsibilities: * Preliminary design and development of solutions to meet the client User Requirement Specifications (URS), including: o Detailed review and assessment of URS and the preparation of Technical Queries to clarify client specifications. o Equipment, component and instrument specification and selection. o Supporting the BCD Estimation team in the preparation of technical proposals. o Supporting the BCD Projects team with equipment specifications and equipment sizing. * Detailed process design and development, including: o Design Studies and Front-End Design o Process Calculations. o PFDs and P&IDs. o Process Functional Specification (PFS) development. o HAZOP / Design Risk Assessment. o Vendor appraisal, ordering and expediting of components. * Working directly with the program managers (customers) to ensure their project installation phase meets the agreed goals in terms of cost/quality & delivery, including: o Providing reports on process deliverable status as it progresses, e.g. equipment datasheet signs off etc. o Quality inspections of equipment. o In-process inspection during the construction phase. o Co-ordination with Automation and Electrical subcontractors. o Walking down installations and preparing snag lists. * Specifying Requirements for Documentation and confirming that the received documents meet requirements, including: o Equipment cut sheets/ datasheets/ IOM Manuals o Development of FAT protocols. o Execution of FAT with client representatives. o Development of Operator Manuals and BCD handover documentation. * Commissioning, including: o Development of IQ/OQ Scripts/ Protocols/ Reports. o IQ/OQ execution. o Operator training. Specific Skills Required: * Process Engineering degree or equivalent- e.g. a qualified tradesperson with a minimum of 5 years' experience. * Training will be provided but the successful candidate must have demonstrable experience in some, or all of the roles and responsibilities listed above. * Design experience of Biopharma/ Pharma Unit operations or aseptic processes gained within an engineering design office or equipment supplier. These will include but are not limited to CIP, Inactivation, Harvest, Preparation, Media, Buffer, WFI (Water for Injection), Purified Water and Clean Steam generation Skids. * Availability to travel. Work will be primarily office based but may require short durations of travelling which will be project specific. * Ability to multitask. * Ability to liaise with international clients within different sectors. * Ability to work on own initiative and to strict deadlines. * Organised and adaptable. * Excellent communications skills. * Excellent organisational skills.
