PURPOSE AND OBJECTIVES
SAP’s Global Procurement Organization (GPO) is amid ongoing transformation that will change the dynamic of how GPO engages with its stakeholders. ABOUT THE GPO SOURCING EXCELLENCE CHAMPIONS (SEC) TEAM
The Sourcing Excellence Champions (SEC) Team is responsible for customer success, strategy execution, sourcing, negotiation, contracting activities and supplier management across the globe. The SEC Team manages SAP’s main spend categories IT Infrastructure, Workplace Infrastructure, Professional Services, Marketing, and Travel.
The key areas related to the above mentioned spend categories are the following:
Workplace Infrastructure negotiations – Software Procurement
The IT & cloud Services includes, but not limited to, Cloud Procurement, (e.g., Datacenter Services, Networking, Server/Storage, Infrastructure Services), Client Hardware Technology, Software procurement and Facility Services with a strong focus on managed Services.
Professional Services, 3rd Party rates, Marketing & Facilities Negotiations
The Professional Services include all sourcing activities related to Professional Services, such as Financial & Legal Services, Development Services, Application Consulting & Support Services, HR Services and Customer Facing Services, 3rd party services negotiations, Marketing, and facilities activities negotiations, complementing our own development workforce. Such services include e.g., to support tickets process for services, prices negotiation, RFP’s, best practice, 3rd Party Services encompasses third party application consulting services (Rates negotiations) with interface to SAP’s customer (customer facing). Such services include third party resources used in a customer implementation of SAP products or industry solutions, product training, custom development, presales, and support services.
We are seeking a Procurement Buyer to join our team in Argentina. The ideal candidate will have already demonstrated experience in global procurement activities and the above mentioned spend categories. Furthermore, the candidate should work in close collaboration with regional team members from North America region and Latin America.
