Director of Product Development & Client Solutions


As Director of Product Development & Client Solutions, you are responsible to create and execute a holistic strategy for our internal and client-facing digital marketing solutions that enables the company to attain market leadership while facilitating operational scalability. It is essential in this position to rapidly develop an in-depth understanding of major painpoints and opportunities of our diverse client base & operational teams. You will then utilize your excellent business acumen and expert knowledge of the digital marketing & adtech landscape to craft solution strategies that incorporate both proprietary and licensed solutions in ways that create maximum value for clients, internal teams and shareholders. 


Responsibilities:

Solution Strategy

  • Identifying & Assessing Opportunities: Evaluate solution ideas and decide which ideas are worth pursuing. This involves coming up with your own ideas as well as considering suggestions from the team and reacting to market trends.
  • Ensuring Solution-Market Fit:  Assess if the solution fits the needs of Heroleads’ target customers in our focus verticals. This requires gaining a strong understanding of client needs, e.g. through client interviews.
  • Ensuring Solution-Portfolio Fit: Assess if the solution fits into Heroleads’ solution portfolio. This requires a strong understanding of Heroleads’ strategy, sales approach and market positioning.  
  • Ensuring Solution Feasibility & Launch: Assess the feasibility of launching a new solution idea and taking suitable ideas all the way from idea to launch. This requires the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and strong entrepreneurial drive.
  • Architecting and designing marketing technology solutions that bridge business and technology requirements and ensures usability, accessibility and performance
  • Identify potential opportunities to grow client business through technology enabled marketing strategies, customer acquisition / conversion and make recommendations in the form of short / medium / long term technology roadmaps

Proprietary Ad-Tech Product Management 

  • Define the product vision and strategy for Marketing and Digital Experience. Design and lead a multi­-year roadmap, balancing short­ and long­-term goals and investments to scale regionally.
  • Engage regularly as a trusted advisor with business leaders to understand their strategy, end-to-end business process, pain points and priorities to inform product strategy, while providing transparency into roadmap and managing expectations.
  • Partner closely Engineering, Data and other internal Heroleads teams to drive product and delivery success.
  • Analyze industry trends to advance our products and drive innovation.
  • Foster and facilitate timely decision-making across a broad network of stakeholders, delivery partners, and operational teams. Attract, develop, and retain a high-performing team of Product Managers.


Solution Architect for Client Operations 

  • Architecting and designing marketing technology solutions that bridge business and technology requirements and ensures usability, accessibility and performance
  • Identify potential opportunities to grow client business through technology enabled marketing strategies, customer acquisition / conversion and make recommendations in the form of short / medium / long term technology roadmaps
  • Develop and present innovative tech strategies to client senior leadership teams including new technology adoption, upgrades of existing technology tools to improve overall operational efficiencies and customer satisfaction
  • Work with platform and data specific architect to design overall solution
  • Right technology solution (covering integration of various Marketing Technology platforms (eCommerce, Database, CMS, Web Analytics, DMP, Decisioning, Personalization, Identity Management, Campaign Management and /or CDP, and Business Intelligence platforms, Loyalty Platforms, Preference Centers, Customer Lookup Applications, vendors/application and sizing) that meets the user and solution requirements and performs to SLA

Requirements:


Must-have:

  • Impressive expert knowledge of the digital marketing & adtech ecosystem on both strategic and operational level, ideally recognized as a thought leader in the field through speakerships or publications
  • Strong business acumen proven through previous success in senior strategic management roles with P&L/cost-center ownership
  • Ability to successfully integrate and be the bridge between business and technology, proven through previous experience in a senior role cross-functional role which involved leading both business and technical staff
  • Previous experience in (internal or external) solution/product design for a B2B company, preferably in a senior leadership role with accountability for full solution development & go-to-market process
  • Track record of getting impressive and complicated things done, proven through end-to-end leadership of large-scale cross functional projects
  • Previous work experience in Thailand


Nice-to-have:

  • Fluency in Thai
  • Previous experience working in digital marketing for an agency or a brand
