Job Purpose/Objective: The job holder is responsible for:
Managing of Product Innovation Product Development, New Product approval (PDC/GPRC) OIC filing support (Policy Wording & Statistics), OIC Governance Product Training Product portfolio management
Critical Tasks and Expected Contributions/Results:
+ Cooperate with marketing requirements of marketing strategy, product strategy & plan, market research and portfolio management
+ Implementation and review function as well as managing the product development process within the company to align with Regional/Home Office
+ Understanding of the key value drivers of product profitability and analysis of experience will become valuable when communicating results with other areas of the organization
+ Initiate new product ideas and manage the requirements to identify market need, market trend, customer needs, in order to create new product with value proposition by in discussion with Actuary and Operation team
+ Cooperate with researcher to test the new product concepts, gauge satisfaction towards insurance packages and identify customers insight
+ Support the validation of product concept testing and price sensitivity
+ Support the gathering of market intelligence, tracking competitors’ products, product movement in the market and providing analysis as request
+ Identify product positioning and core product competitiveness
+ Prepare detail & Run Product Approval process (local & RO approval).
+ Create the Policy Wording & provide statistics of new product to support premium pricing to OIC.
+ Review the Policy Wording for renew to OIC.
+ Train new product to sales training team (train the trainer).
+ Necessary reporting and documentation
+ Bachelor’s Degree in business field
+ 5-7 years experience in Life, A&H Insurance Business or Marketing
+ Professional knowledge: Insurance knowledge; product knowledge; an understanding of profit, value measures and drivers; policy contract terms & conditions, marketing
+ Languages capability: Good command of English (both spoken and written)
+ Insurance product & condition (policy wording) awareness
+ Insurance industry awareness
+ Willingness to learn new skills, open to the knowledge in and outside insurance industry
+ Self-motivated, enthusiastic, good interpersonal skill and team player
+ Good knowledge of computer/ word processing package, eg. Word, Excel, PowerPoint
