In our Munich Development Center for high-speed signaling we are developing, testing and characterizing industry-leading DRAM memories, which are used in high-performance computing, artificial intelligence, graphic cards, game consoles, automotive, autonomous driving.

Have you worked in software development and want to extend your expertise in the direction of semiconductor devices? We are looking for someone with advanced software development skills who is eager to learn about DRAM operation, testing and characterization. A basic background knowledge in microelectronics is required.

Position

We are looking for a DRAM product engineers for the following tasks:

• Write software and test programs to perform characterization measurements on ATE (Automatic Test Equipment) as well as other smaller bench testers
• Create software to store data in a database, extract meaningful information from the test results and generate web reports that allow users to drive decisions and obtain relevant conclusions
• Maintain the characterization software infrastructure as well as working with different teams to collaborate with device testing and characterization efforts
• Provide feedback to the Design team based on the characterization data and advice on improvements

The candidate will interface with design and design verification teams, quality groups, technologists and manufacturing sites in Asia.

Qualification

The candidate should hold a university master’s degree in computer science, computer engineering or any other degree with extensive software exposure, with excellent grades.

A solid background is required in:

• Software engineering
• modern software methods (OOP programming)

Desired skills are:

• Scripting languages (Python, Perl…)
• Database and Web development (SQL/noSQL, Javascript…)

• digital electronics
• microelectronics
• Data extraction and manipulation
