As a Product Engineer you will support the development and production of new automotive devices and take product engineering responsibility throughout the product life cycle - from development to production ramp-up and mass production.


In this job, you will:

  • Perform data analysis of mainly electrical mass data from production testing, experiments and verification
  • Maintain product ownership after product release to act as a central interface for product issues
  • Continuously improve test yield, stability and quality while constantly considering production cost
  • Review product requirements, datasheet parameters, and test specifications
  • Eventually coordinate the hand over or product ownership to production or product maintenance departments
  • Collaborate in cross functional teams over international sites
  • Share responsibility for quality and reliability of delivered products, meeting Automotive and Infineon standards

Your Profile

As a true team player, you treat your colleagues with respect and trust. You can convince with a self-driven working style and entrepreneurial mindset. You have strong analytical and data management skills. You are a good networker and have strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

You are best equipped for this task if you have:

  • A University (Master or PHD) degree in Mathematics, Physics, Data Science or comparable
  • At least 3 years of experience in Product or Test Engineering
  • Expertise in data mining and yield analysis, knowledge on semiconductors product development cycle, manufacturing and test techniques
  • Good knowledge in programming, especially in R and MatLab
  • Good knowledge in MS Office
  • Fluent English skills, German skills as a plus
This position is subject to the collective agreement for workers and employees in the electrical and electronics industry, at least employment group G (https://www.feei.at/leistungen/informations-service/mindestlohne-und-gehalter-2020). The monthly salary is paid 14 times p.a. A higher payment is negotiable depending on your expertise and skills. Furthermore, Infineon offers additional employee benefits.
