Job title: Director(IC-5), Data Management Partner PM
Job description: As Director(IC-5) of Data Management Partner PM, you are responsible for developing and maintaining a robust Data Management Partner community. You will work with A&C team to define and execute partner programs in alignment with Oracles go-to-market strategy in this area and accelerate data management revenue and consumption. Oracle data management solutions are based on Database, Data warehouse, Big Data, Data Integration, Governance, AL/ML and other technologies and products.
Goals and objectives:
Grow the Oracle Cloud Database revenue and customer utilization by partner excellence.
Roles and Responsibilities
Work closely with the Oracle partner facing organizations to define and launch partner community programs, drive their awareness, enablement and adoption leading to greater revenue growth and consumption
Partner Community (business development):
Newsletter: Monthly update with sales, marketing and enablement information.
Webcast: Monthly webcast & on-demand on latest services & technology.
Forum: Plan, invite, host and follow-up annual conference.
Blog and social media: Daily blog post & social media.
Executive Roundtables: Plan, invite, host and follow-up annual executive business roundtable.
Partner Advisory Council: Plan, invite, host and follow-up annual technical workshop.
Trials: Provide partners with cloud trials to get trained, developer service offerings and build customer PoCs.
Sales plays & partner resource kits: sales packages for partners with elevator pitch, trainings, references and customer presentation. Annual webcast to update partners on sales plays.
DB sales campaign: Include DB to customers who upshift workload to the Oracle Cloud Platform driven by implementation partners.
Bootcamps: Plan, invite and follow-up partner hands-on trainings.
Certification & on-demand training: promote online training and certification.
Campaigns: Publish, promote, execute and follow-up marketing events with partners.
Success videos: Record and promote partners success.
Innovation award: Promote and nominate awards.
Work with product teams to ensure products and programs incorporate requirements from partner community
Consistent and periodical communication with partners through newsletter, webcast and events.
Leverage Oracle partner organizations to recruit key partners in Data Management area.
Leverage partner marketing and engage with partner communities to ensure awareness of partner solutions in Oracle go-to-market activities.

Professional qualifications and skills:
A minimum of 10 years channel management experience in enterprise software, cloud services, and/or system integration organizations.
Strong technology background with in depth understanding data management software and cloud services market place.
Proven track record of conceptualizing, delivering high-value data analysis, setting strategy, and executing on global program management.
Prior experience in data management, cloud services, enterprise software, technology consulting, high-performing corporate IT department, or managing large technology projects.
Educational background and competence:
MBA or equivalent with strong general business acumen
An undergrad degree in technology and engineering preferred
Effective program management skills, ability to adapt to change and prioritize to meet tight deadlines
Very strong interpersonal and communication skills
Team player / leader, experience in working with multi-cultural and virtual teams
Strong knowledge and interest in, data management technology trends, their impact on business strategy, and their implications for senior managers creating and sustaining competitive advantage and transforming business processes
The ability to effectively and credibly serve as a senior representative of the product development organization in a large corporation.
Detailed Description and Job Requirements
Lead a team that acts as the central resource and driving force for the design, process, manufacturing, test, quality and marketing of product(s) as they move from conception to distribution. Organize interdepartmental activities ensuring completion of the project/product on schedule and within budget.
As a member of the product development division, you will specify, design and implement major changes to existing software architecture. Define project needs. Build and execute unit tests and unit test plans. Review integration and regression plans created by QA. Communicate with QA and porting engineering to ensure consistency, testability and portability across products in general.
Provide leadership and expertise in the development of new products/services/processes, frequently operating at the leading edge of technology. Recommends and justifies major changes to existing products/services/processes. BS or MS degree or equivalent experience relevant to functional area. 8 or more years of software engineering or related experience.
