This role will focus on Buck’s bEngagedtm hub, Buck’s front door experience for individuals.

This role covers strategic analysis, strong business knowledge, and an ability to define and drive a technology roadmap. The successful candidate will have extensive awareness of hub portal product features and functionality in the market and determine how our technology can stay ahead of competition with periodic releases.

This product manager will own, plan, and manage a roadmap of product enhancements short and long term. The product manager will also work closely with Buck’s bEngagedtm leader, Buck’s Digital Suite product strategy leader, IT product leader, offshore teams and Business representatives to build/test/deploy product releases on time and in budget. This individual will also provide the financials and develop business cases to the product releases and oversee the development of deployment kits to facilitate the releases to our entire client base.

The individual will partner with Business leaders in some client communications and will be evaluated on relationship building skills both internally within Buck as well as externally with clients, partners, vendors, contractors, etc. Work may include the delivery and productization of websites, portals, artificial intelligence, mobile applications, decision support tools, modelers, outbound communication and personalized data services across the HR spectrum. The role will include presentation development as well as technology research.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Ongoing product and process development to improve and streamline Buck’s engagement technology services to not only deliver a superior service to our clients, but also to improve our efficiency and profitability.
  • Mentoring/managing Hub team members.
  • Partnering with the Global bEngaged Strategy Leader to educate clients on the value of adding hub products to their business, capturing & defining needs and solutions
  • Synthesizing business needs and creating business/functional design documents which can be used to build expanded services.
  • Developing, implementing, and supporting methodologies, standards, and tools for hub development work.
  • Building cooperative, productive relationships with clients and vendors by utilizing excellent communication skills, while also interacting effectively internally and externally.
  • Researching, prototyping, and exploring future, non-standard hub approaches that push the limits of current capability.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, graphic design or related
  • 10+ years' experience in HR/benefits engagement technology
  • 3+ years of managerial and leadership experience
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
  • Previous experience with content management systems, data-driven communication, application design/development
  • Familiarity with single sign-on, web services, ETL, API, usability and portal best practices and procedures
  • Extensive experience with project planning, scoping, risk analysis & scheduling
  • Self-motivated and ability to work independently in meeting deadlines
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills and is comfortable working with remote teams
  • Exposure to user experience tracking and measurement software
