Job Description: Healthcare Supply Chain Strategy IDC Position

As a product strategist you will help drive activities that help define our strategy in building a competitive, compelling, next-generation application suite.
Understand the healthcare supply chain domain, and the broader healthcare market while being an expert on the healthcare industry’s use cases for procurement, master data management, inventory, receiving and demand planning
Define functional requirements, review and approve design for ongoing product enhancements
Assist in developing the product vision for supply chain practices within healthcare. Evangelize the vision to your customers, your team, and your stakeholders
Collaborate with horizontal application strategists, product development, and customers to identify, specify, prioritize, features and capabilities driving buy-in from key stakeholders
Lead teams in the development of cross-functional requirements and solutions for integrated business processes including projects involving country specific requirements
Lead needs assessment through interviews with customers, related Oracle product teams, sales, consulting and support groups
Collaborate with systems integrators to gain insights into challenges and needs related to healthcare customer implementations
Produce and deliver customer communication on product offering, release deliverables, roadmap
Write white papers and customer-facing artifacts that present and clarify product concepts and features
Engage with key customers to create references, provide regular pulse on customer health to stakeholders
Speak externally at events, such as customer connect live sessions, development briefings, field and customer advisory councils
Collaborate with product marketing to highlight customer stories. Supports sales or solutions teams through activities by presenting roadmap, providing domain expertise, and advocating best practices
Perform competitive analysis and liaison with research analysts to guide market research and analysts reports
Assist ecosystem (partners and services) and customers with implementations or go-live issues as it relates to your domain.
Be passionate about customer success by preparing field teams for go-to market (marketing, sales, training, support and partners)
Skills and Experience:
Possess a deep functional understanding of healthcare supply chain practices as well as technical skillset allowing for concept application/UI prototypes
Efficient organizational and planning skills, written/verbal presentation, and the ability to present complex technical information in a clear and concise manner to a variety of audiences, in large and small groups
High level of energy, ability to manage and gain respect among stakeholders
An excellent communicator and collaborator. Build networks, forming trusting relationships between teams across geographies
Experience presenting to executive leadership, working with customers, and handling sensitive customer situations.
Ability to handle multiple competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
Strong troubleshooting and analytical thinking skills
Ability to lead and work autonomously
5 years product management experience, or in implementing enterprise applications (Oracle Cloud, EBS, Peoplesoft, Workday, Infor, etc.) within healthcare organizations and overall 15+ years of exp. in the IT industry focusing the SCM functional doamin
BS / BA, MS / MA / MBA degree or equivalent work experience.
Lead a team that acts as the central resource and driving force for the design, process, manufacturing, test, quality and marketing of product(s) as they move from conception to distribution. Organize interdepartmental activities ensuring completion of the project/product on schedule and within budget.
As a member of the product development division, you will specify, design and implement major changes to existing software architecture. Define project needs. Build and execute unit tests and unit test plans. Review integration and regression plans created by QA. Communicate with QA and porting engineering to ensure consistency, testability and portability across products in general.
Provide leadership and expertise in the development of new products/services/processes, frequently operating at the leading edge of technology. Recommends and justifies major changes to existing products/services/processes. BS or MS degree or equivalent experience relevant to functional area. 8 or more years of software engineering or related experience.
