To further develop these products into the future, we are searching for a Digital and Precision Solutions & Telematics (PS&T) Harvesting Product Manager , who has a deep understanding of farming processes, Harvesting applications and precision farming operations with a desire to drive the Digital and Connectivity revolution of agriculture.


Market Need:

Define the future direction of Digital and PS&T product business for Harvesting, supporting Combine Harvester, Grape Harvester and Sugar Cane Harvester business, and aligned with the Aftermarket Digital & PS&T strategy.

Owner and driver of the Customer Requirements Document for Digital and PS&T Harvester Field projects and programs. Ensure alignment of Field, Fleet and Farm end-to-end customer requirements communicating closely with the wider Digital and PS&T Product Management team.

Owner and expert of one-pager ROI evaluations gaining input from Regional Product Marketing – covering Digital and PS&T Harvester projects and programs.

Provides product information detail upon product release to Brands, Global Product Lines (GPL’s) and Aftermarket organizations.

Benchmark competition and consolidate to maintain competitive comparisons with Global Product Marketing.

Maintain customer needs by Product Platform within GPL.

Solution Design & Product Definition:

Refine and further develop a 5-year vision and strategy for Digital and PS&T for Harvester applications, working with the branded Global Product Management teams, and Global Product Marketing for CIH AFS and NH PLM.

Lead Customer Driven Product Definition, working with the Product Specialists within Digital and PS&T Product Development and with Brand Product specialists.

Work with the Global Product Marketing representatives of CIH AFS, NH PLM, AMS, and the Global Product Management teams of the Harvester GPL, to develop and execute Digital and PS&T Strategic Product Range Plans (SPRP’s) and Program Initiations (kickoffs). The role will be an extension of the Harvester GPL Product Management teams.

Responsible for the prioritization of Digital and PS&T, Current Product Improvements and Current Product Maintenance specific to Harvesters.

Responsible for Product Management Signoff for the Product Development Change Review Board (CRB).

Assist the platform manager (GPL and/or PS&T Fleet/Field/Farm) in building the financial case for presentation to executive management for funding.

Provide a critical communication link between the GPL Product Management Teams for Harvesters, to/from the Central Digital and PS&T Product Management and Product Specialist teams.

Participate with a matrixed team of product specialists, system engineers, designers and developers across the full product development life cycle – from customer requirements to product definition to product release and deployment, optimization and product life-cycle enhancements.

Facilitate Digital and PS&T internal launch activities with the full range of stakeholders including Brands, training, support, tech pubs and other stakeholders.

Support Business Development initiatives.


A Bachelor's degree in Agriculture, Agricultural Business Management, Engineering or relevant discipline.

5 years’ experience with precision farming and guidance systems, practices and usage, off-road vehicle telematics, or related aftermarket systems.

3 years’ experience working in a product management, product marketing, or product development role.

2 years’ experience managing complex tasks with multiple stakeholders in a collaborative environment.

Fluent in English

Ability to travel up to 30% of the time.


The Preferred Candidate will have:

Master’s degree

Hands-on experience with agricultural products such as large tractors, combines, balers, sprayers, planters and tillage equipment.

Knowledge of the agricultural products market and customer base globally.

Strong written and verbal communication and presentation skills.

Working knowledge of precision farming & guidance, ISOBUS control, vehicle electronics, cellular and other forms of telecommunication for connected devices.

Comfortable in embracing change and collaborating in a winning team orientated atmosphere.

A demonstrated passion for driving Digital Agriculture across the industry.
