Job Responsibilities

General responsibilities:
  • To manage all accounts within Indonesia and ensure that clients are represented in all relevant purchase opportunities. 
  • To achieve annual sales targets for the terri ry.
  • To accurately and consistently maintain records (in a timely fashion) for assigned opportunities, including forecast information.
  • To develop and maintain a good level of product knowledge for the chemical identification products range and for competitive technologies.
  • To organize demonstrations, attend seminars and exhibitions. 

Leadership responsibilities:
  • Drive self-learning and improvement in the area of Technical Product Sales and DKSH behavior as part of continuous learning 


Functional skills and knowledge:
  • Demonstrate sound knowledge and understanding of the industry/market/competi rs/cus mers
  • Demonstrate sound knowledge and a proven sales track record in assigned products/services/systems and an existing network of contacts
  • Demonstrate sound knowledge of regula ry requirements of products within assigned terri ries
  • Demonstrate strong communication and negotiation skills
  • Demonstrate advanced research and analytical skills
  • Demonstrate proficiencies in office productivity ols (e.g. Excel, Word and PowerPoint)
  • Demonstrate fluency in English, both written and spoken
  • A working knowledge of chemical identification techniques (elemental analyzer, GC, ICP, XRD & XRF) and/or applications would be an advantage.

Minimum education in degree level in the field of science (physics, chemistry, pharmacy) or engineering (chemical engineering, materials engineering, metallurgical engineering).
Work experience:
Minimum 3 years sales experience in scientific Instrumentation
