Hi, we're The Browser Company and we're building a better way to use the internet.
Browsers are unique in that they are one of the only pieces of software that you share with your parents as well as your kids. Which makes sense, they're our doorway to the most important things — through them we socialize with loved ones, work on our passion projects, and explore our curiosities. But on their own, they don’t actually do a whole lot, they’re kind of just there. They don’t help us organize our messy lives or make it easier to compose our ideas. We believe that the browser could do so much more — it can empower and support the amazing things we do on the internet. That’s why we’re building one: a browser that can help us grow, create, and stay curious.
To accomplish this lofty task, we’re building a diverse team of people from different backgrounds and experiences. This isn’t optional, it’s crucial to our mission, as we need a wide range of perspectives to challenge our assumptions and shape our browser through a bold, creative lens.
With that in mind, we especially encourage women, people of color, and others from historically marginalized groups to apply.

About The Role

As the first Product Marketer at The Browser Company, you’ll play a pivotal role in growing our member base and telling the story of Arc to our members.

You will partner with our design, engineering and storytelling teams to drive adoption of Arc, from launching new features to our members to shaping how the broader world (our soon to be members!) encounter the product. You’ll have significant influence on how we build the marketing motion at the Browser Company.

This role is ideal for a marketer who blends creativity with strategic storytelling and effective orchestration. You aspire to join a team of product thinkers and storytellers, combining these elements to scale our company to new heights, and establishing a unique and lasting identity for Arc.

Overall You Will...

  • Develop engaging and compelling product narratives that showcase Arc’s value, leading to improved acquisition and activation.

  • Collaborate with Design, Engineering, and Storytelling to orchestrate distinctive and compelling feature launches that spark meaningful engagement and growth across channels.

  • Refine our marketing cadence by setting the rhythm for our marketing efforts, balancing quality with timely execution.

  • Drive the next phase of our web presence in close collaboration with our Design, Storytelling, and Engineering teams, and ensure that our web presence reflects the breadth of the product and its passionate member base.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of product marketing experience, with demonstrated results and significant time at software companies

  • A track record of successful product launches, demonstrating your ability to unite cross-functional teams around common goals

  • You are a strong communicator with a knack for crafting compelling narratives and distilling complex information into understandable, actionable, and delightful materials. You care deeply about crafting a voice that feels human, approachable — and fun!

  • You are motivated by measurable impact, and prioritize accordingly. You use, and appreciate, quantitative and qualitative data to inform your work

  • You consider yourself a generalist, and thrive in a rapidly changing, growth-stage environment. You expect, and relish, multiple projects at the same time

  • You are detail-oriented and organized, valuing both the initial vision and the final 10% of execution equally

  • You are an excellent writer, skilled in crafting compelling sentences and concise paragraphs

  • Bonus - you’ve used and understand Arc
