Product Marketing Manager - Platform + Portfolio, EMEA

Equinix is seeking an experienced and driven product marketer to represent platform marketing in cross-functional GTM groups and provide sales tools, insights and platform use cases that will help with customer and channel adoption of Platform Equinix. You will build plans to communicate the value of Platform Equinix to customer care, marketing and sales teams in the region. You will manage a messaging framework, weaving platform messaging into content and communication delivery. You will maintain a library of platform + portfolio sales tools, which can be leveraged by cross functional groups. You will run internal briefing and communication programs to ensure teams can effectively sell the full platform proposition.

Responsibilities

  • Build Solution Marketing propositions – working with product marketing to combine a package of products that propose a solution to an IT challenge
     
  • Translate global platform strategy and initiatives into regional deliverables
  • Create Customer success stories that demonstrate how the Platform has been leverage with clear repeatable use cases identified
  • Drive a Communications program which shifts the story from point product to platform and bring sales and channel on that journey
  • Craft compelling content + collateral to amplify the Platform proposition in EMEA and drive adoption – to include sales tools, pitch decks and videos
     
  • Drive awareness activities of the value of the Platform – sharing sales wins and customer success stories
  • Manage FLAP + GEMs (regional EMEA) propositions leveraging product insights from Quarterly Business Reviews
     
  • Create and execute Platform GTM plan in EMEA, leading cross-functional teams and resources
     
  • Conduct market research and understand customer needs to gain deep knowledge of digital infrastructure and how interconnection and colocation solves for digital transformation
     
  • Integrate competitive insights into platform enablement activities and collateral
     
  • Create and execute briefing plans
     
  • Articulate Platform roadmap to internal and external audiences
     
  • Recommend product marketing best practice to solve business challenges

The candidate:

  • Role requires a good understanding of the technology industry and the propositions that support digital transformation
  • Driven by making an impact, the candidate will have demonstrable experience in setting and delivering a Go-to-Market strategy for a product line or business.
  • Product marketing experience crafting use cases and value propositions is highly desirable
  • Experience of working cross-functionally and driving cross-functional projects is helpfulExperience and Skills
  • 10+ years with Business or Technology focus, with at least 3 years in product marketing or supporting positions
  • Ability to analyse complex business issues, identify, design & implement effective practical recommendations
  • Proven ability to build strong working relationships with Marketing Peers, Sales Leadership and Country Managers to be the voice of the region in global planning activities
  • Experience in operating in complex, multi-national and multi-faceted (e.g. matrix) environments with multiple stakeholders
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Sets high personal standards and is goal oriented and performance driven
  • Exceptional communications skills – able to put across complex issues simply and comfortable in addressing audiences large and small
  • Culturally aware and adept at working across multiple geographies
  • Proven project management skills
  • Willingness to travel in the EMEA Region
  • Ability to be execution-driven and results-oriented to ensure strategy translates to outcomes
