As the PO you will guide an agile development team that is charged with product line contributions to the Virgin Pulse Global Challenge. 

You will help develop and maintain a vision for the product and will be responsible for communicating the vision to the scrum team.  This extends from authoring user stories and specs that deliver an outstanding user experience to maintaining a well-managed user story backlog and delivery process to maximise team velocity. You must possess a unique blend of business and technical savvy; strong agile and process skills, and the drive to make the product vision a reality. You must enjoy spending time collaborating with key stakeholders across the business and within the delivery team to bring innovative products to market. 

In summary we are looking for someone who enjoys crafting user stories based on lots of inputs and constraints: product and UX vision, use cases, go to market timing, and development budget.  You also have a passion for creating winning products, can own the process of product delivery, product launch and post launch operational support, and can work well within a close knit business and product delivery team.  
You will work with architects, product marketing and development teams to ensure that business, quality and functional goals are met with each product release. You are responsible for the design, usability, quality and delivery of a product or feature. You'd be the key decision maker on priorities and design decisions, and work to ensure that all stakeholders are aligned at each stage of the development lifecycle. You will need to understand both the engineering and business side of the product release and will be ultimately responsible for representing the end user’s needs.

  • Collaborate with business departments, product architect and product marketing teams to translate business requirements into user stories for the development teams to implement and then to marketecture for message to market.
  • Develop and maintain an appropriately prioritised backlog of user stories for implementation
  • Work with project managers and technical leads to determine scope and priorities for product development cycles
  • Work with development teams to ensure that they understand the vision for the product and are designing great features for our partners
  • Develop appropriately detailed specifications for product features so that they are clearly understood by the development teams
  • Inspire and motivate the development teams to deliver innovative and exciting solutions with an appropriate sense of urgency
