Technical Product Specialists have a key role as experienced medical technologist to provide the first line of scientific support for our sales team and customers. Utilizing your clinical laboratory experience in hematology and in-depth knowledge of our DxH instrumentation, you will assist sales across the region through your technical proficiency.

We are looking for individuals that love working with highly technical customers (medical directors and/or hematopathologist) in the Hematology and Urinalysis market! We value your strong background as a medical technologist or laboratory scientist, as you will help differentiate our products to advance the sale at a highly technical level. Ideal candidates live in the West Market, including but not limited to Washington, Oregon, California, Idaho, Montana, Nevada or Utah.

You will be the technical specialist providing solutions for customers and colleagues, within a matrixed sales environment.

Responsibilities:
  • Serve as Subject Matter Expert for the Hematology and Urinalysis product line.
  • Converse with high-level customers on the science of Hematology and how it relates to testing capabilities of the Beckman Coulter instrumentation, primarily the DxH800/900
  • Conduct engaging product demonstrations, internal and external training, seminars, workshops and promotional activities
  • Good understanding of laboratory science to include statistical analysis and truth table analysis
Qualifications:
  • BS degree minimal, Medical Technologist or CLS with 5+ years’ clinical hematology experience
  • Proven Experience working on DxH Instrumentation
  • Certified Specialist in Hematology (SH) Certification (ASCP or equivalent) preferred
  • Solid understanding of hematology and urinalysis workflow
  • Demonstrated strong communication and presentation skills required
  • Highly proficient experience with personal computer, e-mail, and Microsoft Office programs
  • Ability to travel at least 70%.
