· Production Management:
o Oversee daily production operations for heat exchanger manufacturing, ensuring optimal performance and efficiency.
o Monitor and manage production schedules to meet deadlines and customer requirements.
o Coordinate with cross-functional teams (engineering, quality control, procurement) to ensure smooth production flow.
o Identify opportunities for process improvements, cost reductions, and efficiency gains.
o Implement lean manufacturing principles and best practices to streamline operations.
o Conduct time and motion studies to optimize production processes and reduce waste.
o Ensure the manufacturing process adheres to strict quality standards and specifications for heat exchangers.
o Prepare and review production reports, highlighting quality metrics and production performance.
o Diagnose and resolve production issues, equipment malfunctions, and process bottlenecks.
o Implement corrective actions and root cause analysis to prevent reoccurrence of issues.
o Ensure that all safety procedures and protocols are followed during the manufacturing process.
o Maintain a clean and safe work environment by adhering to OSHA standards and regulations.
o Conduct safety training for production staff and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
o Supervise and train production staff, ensuring they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their tasks efficiently.
o Foster a collaborative and positive team environment to achieve production goals.
o Monitor and review staff performance, providing coaching and feedback.
· Education:
o Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, DME, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field.
o Relevant certifications in manufacturing processes or production management (e.g., Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing) are a plus.
· Experience:
o Minimum of 4-7 years of experience in a production engineering role, preferably in heat exchanger or similar manufacturing industries.
o Proven experience in managing manufacturing processes, including quality control and process optimization.
o Familiarity with heat exchanger design, manufacturing methods, and materials (e.g., tubes, fins, shells, etc.).
· Skills:
o Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
o Proficiency in manufacturing software, ERP systems, and MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
o Strong knowledge of production techniques, lean manufacturing principles, and safety standards.
o Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
