For our Utrecht Rail team we are looking for an experienced Data Production Manager. With our unique Fugro RILA system we provide accurate, up-to-date information in a safe, fast and affordable way, with limited disruption to railway traffic. With this we help rail professionals worldwide design, build, upgrade and maintain railway infrastructure.
In this position you are responsible for and manage our Data Engineering Team, which processes and produces all project deliverables. You provide support for proposals and are closely involved in innovation to drive our strategy to grow.
You manage and develop a team of 10 to 15 Geo-data Engineers;
You take responsibility for managing rail data storage, processing and production of data products. This includes cloud-based processes within Fugro’s Rail Centre of Excellence and other Fugro processing offices worldwide;
In this position you improve overall efficiency and capacity by developing procedures and communications for outsourcing of processing work to other processing offices worldwide;
You develop and direct an annual data processing software development plan;
You support Business Development Managers for proposals with estimations and advice on technical data formats and products.
Potentially you liaise with other regions regarding when and what capacity is required to support processing on their rail projects.
You lead by example in Health, Safety, Security, Quality, and Environment matters.
Your track record
You hold a Master’s degree / Bachelor’s degree with relevant experience in a technical/engineering discipline;
You have at least 5 years of experience with managing a team of professionals;
You have a solid understanding of data processing/production stream, cloud based-processing and relevant software packages like MicroStation, ESRI etc.;
You are fluent in English.
