At Ice Mortgage Technology, the Product Manager plays a critical role in the development of our open and extensible platform of API’s and Webhooks. From a product management perspective, they are the primary owner of the software development process and business feature outcomes. The Technical Product Manager is accountable for ensuring the agile development teams understand what needs to be built and why. We are seeking an experienced, driven and senior technical product manager who is passionate about improving developer productivity. You will be responsible for setting vision, and creating the roadmap to achieve a best in class developer experience. Responsibilities + Establish the vision and lead the cross functional teams to align and deliver incrementally yet expeditiously against the defined strategic plan. + Create and lead the application integration governance over-arching standards and operating rhythm to include quality standards, control mechanisms, data analysis, and communication. + Collaborate with internal and external users to inform the strategic planning and ensure the execution continues to align with needs. + Contribute to and advocate for other’s (Engineering or other thought leaders) contribute to the communication and social discussions in support of the evangelizing and adding value to the platform, to include internal focus of developing API’s first. + Evangelize the use and constant improvement of the API platform to improve the quality, exposed features/functionality, and use. + Leads and manages requirements gathering and analysis activities by collaborating with stakeholders, developers, UX designers, QA analysts and internal/external customers to collaborate + Drives and assists with product backlog maintenance and grooming. + Participates in Agile cadence such as Scrum standup meetings, backlog grooming sessions, review, and retrospective meetings. + Ensures that appropriate project documentation is produced throughout the project lifecycle. + Support Sales, Client Management and Technical Support with escalations. + Assist Technical Publications with the generation of client support documents + Occasional travel for training, meetings or trade shows may be required. Preferred Skills &Qualifications + 7+ years of relevant software industry experience required + Experience with Fintech solutions, mortgage experience is desirable + Ability to analyze and clearly communicate business requirements as a key input to the product development process. + Self-motivated as a well as a strong team player. + Understanding of Developer tools, API documentation and RESTful APIs--POSTMAN, REST, API, JSON, Authorization/ JWT + Be comfortable reading code and should be able to discuss and debug with engineering + Solid understanding of software development lifecycle and Agile development processes. Preference for extensive agile experience and some waterfall experience + Proven experience creating user stories, acceptance criteria, design documentation, process flows and wireframes to clearly communicate a set of functional requirements. + Demonstrated interpersonal and leadership skills required to interact with staff, colleagues, management, and internal/external customers. + Attention to details to include ability to follow written and verbal directions and error free written communication + Manage multiple projects and priorities, tasks and coordinate various channels of communication at the same time + Flexible and able to adapt to a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment + Excellent written and verbal communication skills + Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field required, Master’s Degree desirable \#LI-BF1 ICE Mortgage Technology is an equal opportunity and affirmative action employer.
