Entegris is seeking a Product Manager for New Market Business Unit in Micro Contamination Division to manage assigned Life Science product line(s) to maintain market or grow share and improve profitability and will report to the Director of New Market Business Unit. This segment services all liquid filtration needs for Life Science industries, especially Medial and Laboratory. The filter is the Key consumables used in the manufacturing of advanced Life Science application and utilized for Medial and Laboratory.

Major Job responsibilities are focused on Worldwide Management of Entegris Life Science filtration products serving as the primary interface among the customers and Engineering and the manufacturing plant. You will be responsible for the development of market requirement documents to deliver new products through the product launch and driving high revenue growth. Also improve and support existing products roadmaps, pricing strategy and competitive analysis to drive marketing strategies own product lines.

Market Management with new opportunities

• Advise Management and R&D team for new product opportunities within product lines through market knowledge and voice of customers
• Working closely with FAE(Field Application Engineer) who is Technical support and Sales to evaluate new product opportunities for preliminary technical and business feasibility, including worldwide revenue and market share opportunity;
• Develop product requirement documents to drive programs and justify to key stakeholders at the start of and during product development.
• Serve on new product development teams for product lines, including schedule management, detailed launch plan development, and all related materials.

Product Line Management

• Manage Profit Line and initiate product improvement programs.
• Coordinating lead time and cost reduction programs
• Provide global forecasts for product lines on a regular basis
• Support manufacturing teams to improve inventory, lead times and backlogs
• Enabling for sale of new and special products and management of discount authority for overall margin targets
• Communication of product evaluation results in coordination with FAE, Application and sales teams
• Reviewing customers inquiries and complaint resolution of product design and/or quality after initial QA review/resolution
• Pro-actively identify issues and concerns and escalate to Product Management team
• Development of product datasheets and customer launch presentation packages with cross functional team
• Responsible for supporting of the product life cycle;
  • Manage customer notification of product obsolescence programs across all product lines to ensure smooth transition.

  New Product Development Coordination

  • Initiate and coordinate product development process with R&D to release to manufacturer of new products on time
  • Tracking for all new products across all product lines in terms of global perspective of product development;
  As needed, to lead teams and meetings to review the status of product development.

To be Successful in this role and at ENTEGRIS you will need:

• Demonstrated success in product launches and end-to-end execution of marketing strategies
• Excellent interpersonal and communications skills required; experience working in a matrix environment and managing multiple priorities and projects with dynamic timelines to execution.
• Proficient in all of product management and success managing a complex and evolving product line(s).

Successful candidates will typically have the following skill set:

• BS degree in engineering, chemistry, Life Science or material science with minimum 5+ years experience, MS +3 years in related discipline or MBA preferred
• Experience working in related technical area or academic equivalent
• Knowledge of liquid filtration, membrane materials and life Science process is encouraged
• Exposure to sales, marketing and/or applications in the life science industry;

• Ability to work on problems that are complex in nature where judgment is required in resolving problems and making recommendations;
• Experience in preparing project proposals, plans, schedules and budgets, as well as detailed reports and presentations;
• Ability to effectively relate results through written and oral communications by both of English/Chinese
• Experience having served as a primary interface with Manufacturing, Engineering, Quality, Field Sales and Marketing

Ability to work across multiple functions and communication across geographies
