Job Description

  The opportunity:

QIC has a unique opportunity for a Program Coordinator to join our Projects and Continuous Improvement team within our Operations & Technology business unit.

Reporting to the Program Manager, the program coordinator’s primary objective is providing experienced, hands-on essential program and project administrative support for our Enterprise Resource Planning transformation program.

This role is a vital part of the program lifecycle and assists in the delivery of all project management activities as per the project plan, ensures project governance processes are working efficiently and effectively to the expectations of the QIC business.

The ideal candidate:

The successful candidate will have worked on complex transformational projects encompassing technology and change in a large organisation. You will also have:

  • Demonstrated strong end to end program and project coordination skills, with relevant experience of delivering transformation projects using agile and waterfall frameworks
  • Ability to engage and build strong relationships with internal stakeholders across all levels of the organisation
  • Strong problem solving and analytical skills
  • Proficient with Microsoft Project, Microsoft Visio and Microsoft Office suite
  • Ability to effectively monitor, evaluate and improve vendor relationships and performance
  • PRINCE2, PMI Scheduling or ‘Agile’ Certified
  • Proven ability to manage costings and financials across a large program schedule
  • Facilitating team meetings, steering committee meetings and events
  • Raising and tracking purchase orders and requisitions
  • Resource planning
  • Project status reporting
  • Exceptional communication skills; creation and dissemination of project communications
