Job Description

Tobacco Education and Prevention for Porter County, Coordinator

  • Educational requirements - Bachelor's degree in Health Education, Public Health, Communications or one of the social, behavioral or medical sciences.
  • One year of related experience.
  • Knowledge of community health education practices preferred
  • Candidates will participate in planning and implementing tobacco education programs.
  • Candidate will provide leadership and staff support to the coalition. Candidate will build rapport and cooperative relationships within the organization including volunteer partner agencies, agency staff and individuals seeking services. Candidate will assist in communicating the objectives and services of the Tobacco Education and Prevention to the general public, community agencies, community agencies, and professional groups. Candidate will compile requested data on policies as requested and prepare requested reports.
