Marketing Project Manager Job Description – CL9 Specialist


The Marketing & Communications Project Manager (PM) is an exciting opportunity for a well-organized and results-driven project management professional to play a key role in our marketing delivery practice within the Delivery Excellence group at Accenture.


The PM specializes in helping organize and manage project tasks/activities working in partnership and at the direction of the Marketing Manager. The PM is the central point of contact and responsible for proactively maintaining detailed workplans and coordinating team members to execute projects from start to finish. This role will require you to leverage your PM skills for task management, issue/risk resolution, tracking status, communications, budget management and coordinating resources.


You will keep marketing projects running smoothly day-to-day, working with Marketing Managers and channel leads to track tasks and to help ensure deliverables are received on time. The PM may be assigned special duties by the Marketing Managers and may be given other special projects.
 


Responsibilities:



  • Follow established PM and marketing processes leveraging existing tools and templates


  • Central coordinator for project team members, managing Teams site, digital requests and tools support


  • Communicator of meetings, decisions, action items, and managing project materials


  • Responsible for creating workplans for marketing projects, maintaining and communicating workplan status, and tracking issues and risks


  • Responsible for monitoring marketing projects, engaging appropriate resources, ensuring deliverables are received on time, and escalating issues as needed to ensure initiative success


  • Drafts or assists with project status and project impact for Marketing Manager by gathering data from multiple sources and building slide decks and reports


  • Global budget management working with marketing team to manage global budget, raise purchase orders and manage issues


  • Manage industry content pipeline working with content and campaign leads


  • Experience with project management software such as MS Project, JIRA, Monday, Workspace is a plus


  • Support various process improvement initiatives and other special projects designed to improve business effectiveness
