Who you are

This position supports the Client employee well-being program. The Global Wellness Program Manager will work with Virgin Pulse, and Client staff, promoting well-being among the workforce. The Global Wellness Program Manager will collaborate with the Client’s team to develop programs, communications outreach tactics and engagement activities. This individual will provide advocacy for Clients wellbeing program, powered by Virgin Pulse products; and demonstrate Virgin Pulse’s mission of Changing Lives for Good.

The Global Wellness Program Manager will partner with Client and Virgin Pulse to promote a culture of health that addresses the health needs of Client’s population. Additionally, the Global Wellness Program Manager’s role is designed to improve awareness of the wellbeing program, health issues impacting the population as well as creating opportunities for Client’s employees to engage in healthy activities. This individual will be qualified and have the resources to answer all the questions about Virgin Pulse and our products as well as questions and/or concerns regarding Client’s well-being programs, benefits, and resources.

In this role you will wear many hats but your skills will be especially essential in the following:

  • Identify opportunities to integrate well-being into client’s culture
  • Monitor, evaluate and respond to program measurements, including operations and quality, to drive continuous quality improvement initiatives and goals
  • Manage vendor integrations with Virgin Pulse on behalf of Client
  • Facilitate ongoing Client committee/group/network meetings. This includes build out and Support the well-being champion network and provide leadership, support and resources to champions at multiple locations.
  • Support global onsite orientations and launch events
  • Successfully escalate concerns within the applicable organization and help drive issue resolution in a timely manner.
  • Support implementation of health promotion programs including health screenings, flu shots and others across client’s multiple locations
  • Engage and partner with Client leadership to support a culture of well-being
  • Develop and leverage partnerships with other Client well-being programs, projects and initiatives (i.e. fitness centers, clinics and other internal/external committees including Global HR Business Partners)
  • Provide data and analytics support to define, track and report on program activities, participation and results
  • Ensure strategies are translated to implementation plans and that such plans are communicated and implemented effectively
  • Collaborate with Virgin Pulse and Client partners/stakeholders including, but not limited to, Marketing, Product, Business Operations and Customer Service to support key implementation/program update activities.

What you bring to the team


  • Bachelor’s degree in health promotion kinesiology or other health related field
  • Master’s degree preferred
  • Multi-lingual


  • 7-10 years’ experience in fields related to health and wellness
  • 5-7 years’ experience in business environment and preferably within a higher education institution.
  • Previous experience as wellness account management and/or wellness coordinator


  • Ability to initiate and coordinate multiple projects simultaneously
  • Agile and able to quickly pivot on strategy and initiatives
  • Outstanding written and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Work collaboratively and effectively with internal/external partners
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Outstanding ability to deliver presentations at all levels within an organization; both small and large group
  • Strong customer service-orientation
  • Adept at Excel, data analytics, forecasting

  • Naturally curious

Work to maintain system and data security at a high standard, ensuring the confidentiality, integrity and availability of the Virgin Pulse application is not compromised. Adhere to industry best practice coding standards and verify all code developed at Virgin Pulse is free from bugs and security vulnerabilities such as those defined and published by OWASP.
