Position Overview

Diligent is looking for an experienced and highly professional Onboarding and Development Programme Manager to join our global HR team. This role will organize and manage our onboarding procedures and facilitate the new hire experience in every aspect. Working closely with the wider HR team and senior business leaders, this role will develop our candidate experience by building structured training programmes and new hire sessions to ensure new joiners have the right information, tools, resources and knowledge in order hit the ground running and thrive at Diligent and in their individual role. This will include driving a robust effort to rebuild our onboarding experience with vendor support, ensuring vendor relationships and deliverables are closely managed, as well as being responsible for components of content delivery and creating training plans for team and role-specific training.

The successful candidate must have a combination of experience and skills across project management, training, learning and development and instructional presentation with a proven track record of building programs in partnership with business leaders. This individual must work well in a fast-moving environment along with sound knowledge of HR and L&D practices. This person will have a true passion for programming and onboarding whilst demonstrating a high level of commitment for to the professional development of our employees.

Key Responsibilities

• Program oversight and management for a newly implemented experience
• Vendor management and partnership to ensure all project deliverables are on track and in accordance with high quality standards
• Partnership and collaboration with relevant Diligent office site leads in key office locations
• Building structure and content for the new program where it does not exist and where the vendor provides recommendation
• Global content creation for professional development training and our new hire orientation
• Actual presentation and delivery of consistent, high quality, and engaging training to new joiners, virtual and in-person sessions globally
• Design onboarding schedules for new hires, working closely with business leaders and hiring managers to put together educational and engaging sessions during their first month and ongoing training materials
• Consult with the business to structure training programmes, meeting the specific needs of each business unit and our employees
• Develop and maintain training documentation delivery guidelines
• Collaborate with internal teams to keep current on product and industry changes
• Create content for standard courses and eLearning, then update based on feedback
• Welcoming new hires with prepared onboarding plans for their first weeks with the business, working closely with hiring managers in building out templates and learning collateral
• Introducing new hires to their team members and supporting them to build key relationships across the business
• Detailing all new hires' initial tasks and answering any queries
• Ensuring new hires have the necessary technical assistance to set up their hardware and software

Required Experience/Skills

• Experience in an L&D delivery role and experience in structuring global training plans
• Experience working with wider HR teams and senior leaders in building collateral and programmes for new hire sessions and onboarding
