Our Energy Services business specialises in electrical infrastructure works across major roads and rails, urban developments and airfields. We boast an experienced and specialised team with a diverse client base.

About the Opportunity

We have an exciting opportunity for a Project Administrator to join our Energy Services team on a 6 month contract based in Hendra. Reporting to the Project Administration Team Leader and working closely with Project Management, your key responsibilities will include;

  • Being responsible for the day to day Administration for a number of Project Managers led by a Construction Manager
  • Perform administration tasks to ensure electrical infrastructure and urban development projects run to schedule
  • File electronic and hard copy documents in an efficient and organised manner
  • Ensure database and registers are maintained accurately
  • Compliance to our processes and suggesting improvements where possible
  • Develop reports, communications and maintain project documentation
  • Communicate with internal and external stakeholders
  • Ensuring all projects are set up and reporting correctly in our cost control systems
  • Preparing and submitting invoices to clients, billing and monitoring project budgets
  • Assisting project managers with cost control, maintenance and auditing
  • Participating in project reviews, producing reports and interpreting financial information to support project management decisions on a weekly and monthly basis
  • Ad Hoc tasks as required

  • You will be an experienced, tenacious Administrator who thrives in a dynamic environment with competing priorities
  • Extensive experience providing timely and accurate administration support
  • Accounts experience highly regarded
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Excellent time management and organisational skills 
  • Process driven
  • Keen eye for detail
  • Construction background highly regarded
  • Ability to work under direction and autonomously
  • Familiarity with Excel, Outlook and Work expected

We are currently going through a change in our administration system with an upgrade to a fully integrated ERP system. You will have the opportunity to assist with a complete IT Implementation.
