Project Control Officer (PCO)

Founded in Quebec City in 2010, PetalMD is a dynamic and growing company made up of a team of over 200 enthusiasts who have developed innovative productivity tools for healthcare professionals. Secure messaging, online booking, schedule management, medical billing and hospital console: all on iOS, Android and our online application!

We will soon reach 50,000 users and have no intention of slowing down in our mission to simplify the daily lives of physicians, improve the efficiency of the health system and ultimately improve access to care.

What to expect when joining the team

As a PCO (project control officer) based out of Quebec City or Montreal, you will be the informed eye who will oversee the progress of the projects assigned to you. You will ensure the proper implementation of methods applied to projects while reporting to management through the production of s and reports.

Your daily life

During the day, you will be led to :

• Develop detailed project planning;
• Monitor and control activities to ensure compliance with deadlines and deliverables;
• Prepare an updated inventory of projects and present it to monitoring meetings;
• Synthesize and share information with managers;
• Define performance indicators (KPIs) and deliver results reports in the form of dashboards;
• Produce, maintain and update reports and dashboards while proactively contributing to continuous improvement;
• Support project managers in the planning, execution and control of different projects;
• Anticipate deviations in the schedule or financial trends and report them to the project manager;
• Establish close and effective links with other teams and ensure proper communication between the various stakeholders;
• Monitor bottlenecks and feed back the information needed to take action when needed.

Your profile

Are you a professional in the field, recognized for your ability to cope with constraints thanks to your pragmatism, critical thinking and analytical skills? Are you a highly organized and structured person, passionate about writing and reporting? Are you looking for an opportunity that combines your passion for project delivery and teamwork? The sky is the limit! If you have :

• A Baccalaureate or equivalent diploma;
• A PMP certification or CAPM title, an asset (project assistant training);
• 2 to 5 years of experience as a project controller;
• A good knowledge of the main project management tools;
• A strong sense of organization and recognized experience in coordinating simultaneous projects;
• The ability to make and be accountable for decisions;
• Openness to changes and a developed capacity for adaptation;
  
• A natural ease for working under pressure;
• Excellent oral and written communication skills as well as strong interpersonal skills;
• Mandatory English-French bilingualism - unilingual applications will not be considered.
