  • Salary Package: From $93,986 to $101,901 per annum (HEW Level 7), plus 17% employer's superannuation and annual leave loading.

The Role
The Office of Information Technology is currently seeking a suitably qualified AV Project Coordinator to join the team.

Reporting to the Technology Services Manager, you will:

  • In conjunction with, the AV Designer, the Technology Services Manager and the Learning Innovation Hub, define, agree and document AV requirements for stakeholders.
  • Prepare project and procurement documentation for AV projects and events.
  • Collaborate with the AV Designer, Technology Services Manager, AV Services Team Leader and IT and Property Project Managers to coordinate the design and installation of large AV refresh and upgrade projects within ag
  • reed timeframes and budget.
  • Contribute to the procurement and selection of AV consultants and contractors in accordance with the preferred contractors list.
  • Manage external AV consultants and contractors to ensure delivery against contracts, project scope and quality.
  • Identify, develop and implement improvements and efficiencies to AVTS systems, processes and procedures.

About You
You will work with the AV Team Leader to manage the delivery of  AV projects and events. You will manage and coordinate AV projects and support for University Events where required and liaise with external providers for external events using University resources. You will deliver advanced computer skills including Microsoft Office programs and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment.  

You will build and maintain relationships with project stakeholders and external suppliers, whilst maintaining a professional demeanour. Your proactive nature and high level of energy will see you thrive in a role where you will work in collaboration with others to achieve shared goals.

  • Degree or extensive relevant industry experience.
  • Extensive knowledge of AV systems, including audio and video distribution, system automation and video conferencing.
  • Extensive experience in AV installation and delivery of AV projects, including AV support for events.
  • Coordinating a range of consultants/ contractors and their associated contracts across multiple projects.
  • Engaging with and managing the expectations of project stakeholders.
  • Preparing tendering, negotiating and letting contracts.
  • Experience in using project management software to Prepare, analyse and report on project metrics.
