Project Engineer- Civil (FIFO/DIDO)

The Company

BG&E Resources (BG&ER) is an Australian based engineering services business providing all-encompassing services to resource and industrial sector clients including process plants, rail systems, bridges, haul roads, ports and non-process infrastructure.

The Role

To support our ongoing growth, we are looking for 2 Civil Project Engineers to join our team. Both roles will work as back-to-back positions on attractive rosters of 5:2 or 4:3.

The role will be operating on-site at one of our WA client sites. Reporting to the Construction Manager, you will be an integral part of the civil delivery team.

• Technical: By developing simple, clever and practical Civil solutions, Clients will view your work as technically excellent and of high quality.

• Management: By efficiently completing project work, you will enable projects to be completed ahead of time and under budget.
• Marketing & Business Development: By delivering on your tasks you will continue to develop and maintain solid working relationships in the industry and enable BG&E Resources to grow.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Selection of the project execution model for the projects
• Undertaking the delivery of civil designs to construction
• Checking designs and plans completed by others
• Managing the day-to-day delivery team objectives
• Project management including project cost and quality controls
• Safety management – responsible for personal safety and safe working practices of contractors
• Management of project delivery from problem identification through to construction and commissioning

The ideal candidate:

Our Ideal candidate is an ambitious and technically minded, degree qualified Project Engineer with 5-10 years experience. Delivery experience in the Mining and Industrial sectors, specifically across Earthworks, Roads and Drainage Design is considered highly advantageous.
