Global Solutions Project Engineer/Project Manager - Automotive & Power Solutions

This position as a Solutions Project/Applications Engineer position will be based in Germany. You will represent Keysight in the Global Solutions Delivery team assisting external customers in the definition and implementation of Keysight’s power portfolio for Battery Test Labs, EV solutions, associated products and services to guarantee customer success - the heart of our KLM. 

You will be responsible for proposal, estimating and delivery of solutions and ensuring successful implementation of customer requirements.

The ideal candidate will:

• Have a strong interest skill set in Electrical engineering, Electrical design, control systems - related to HV/LV Power/E-mobility industry .
• Understand customer’s problems, recommend solutions to meet their needs, and ensure customer satisfaction.
• Support sales to define the Concept, Scope and Document the solution deliverables across different phases of the engagement.
• Partner with customers to determine overall program/project plan, budget, structure, schedule, staffing requirements and sub-contractors.   
• Be accountable for risk assessment, analysis, competitive positioning and implementation/execution, generally allocated by project and engineering services

Travel of >25% will be required

This role can be based in Germany, Sweden or Italy

As a Solutions Project engineer you will have the following responsibilities:

• Be knowledgeable of Project deployment, Site preparation & supply requirement definition and planning
• Demonstrate ownership, management and accountability of solution delivery projects – preferably in customer facing role
• Be self-motivated, proactive with a professional attitude. 
• Be capable to evaluate & manage external contractors, prepare pricing, work breakdowns
• Manage the planning, scheduling, design for new installation platform of Keysight/Scienlab systems at customer sites
• Support the development potential and/or requirements of future development with R&D.
• Be responsible for project planning , layout schematics and design

Typical customer applications are in Power Electronics, High Voltage, High Current E-Mobility areas:

• Battery Pack, Battery Module and Cell Testing
• Electric car - On board Charger
• Charging Infrastructure Test and deployment

• Bachelors/ Masters Degree or University Degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering (or Equivalent).
• Preferred 2-4 years' relevant experience in Electrical, Industrial application areas
• Knowledgeable of project deployment, site preparation & supply requirement definition and planning
• Demonstrated ownership, management and accountability of solution delivery projects – preferably in customer facing role.
• Self-motivated, proactive and professional attitude.
• Capable to evaluate & manage external contractors, prepare pricing, work breakdowns and interpret wiring diagrams.
• Communication skills in English and capable to work with colleagues across multiple disciplines/regions.
• Knowledge and proven experience of requirements to manage aspects of Safety, Electrical / Facility connectivity and 3rd party wiring plans for EV equipment installation
