HEALTH AND SAFETY PROJECT MANAGER

The key objective of a Project Manager for the Health and Safety Department is the elimination of workplace accidents and ill health within the company. His/her main goals are to assist in the continuous development and maintenance of the Management System and to provide support, advice and assistance throughout trainings development.

Your tasks and responsibilities:

• Business lines support: you will collect and translate the business needs into action plans and trainings, and you will coordinate processes for the Benelux organization. You will establish communication, presentation and reporting regarding H&S matters. You will also get the opportunity to give specific H&S trainings.
• Project management: you will promote, manage, implement and harmonize the Management Systems (MS) project in all our business lines, from the design process till the action plan (internal communication, training and information to enhance the MS culture and strive for excellence).
• Health awareness: you will provide support and expert advice in various matters such as employees’ well-being, fitness for work, health advice, legislation requirements and best practices.

The profile we are looking for:

• You have a master’s degree and you have at least two years of experience in industry and in the H&S, HR, project management or operations field;
• You are a French and/or a Dutch speaker and you have a great mastery of English;


• You are competent in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint software and in Management systems such as ISO 45001, VCA, …;
• You demonstrate great communicational skills by applying persuasion and negotiation methods;
• You have a structured mind and great organizational skills;
• You define yourself as being trustworthy and encounters no difficulty to create relationships;
• You are known for being a proactive problem solver and decision-maker;
• You have a driving license. You will be based in our Headquarters of Braine-l’Alleud but will from time to time be required to travel through the Benelux.
