CO2 Capture & Use Project Manager

The CO2 is a major concern for our planet, our industry and our company. Therefore, this topic prioritary within our R&D effort and also to the European and North American areas. The vocation of our Innovation center is usually focused on product innovation, development and transfer and multiplication. But the CO2 topics are closely linked to our industrial operations since it is emitted in the cement plants.

As CO2 Capture Project Manager, you will be in charge of ensuring a well-performed link between the Group’s central research and the industrial performance and engineering departments, the cement plants needed for the industrialization of innovations and countries (business units) hosting the projects.

• Within the CO2 project team of the Innovation Centre, manage industrial aspects: upscaling lab protocols and results to pilot tests, industrial campaigns, design, cost estimation…
• Propose solutions together with the Industrial Performance Cement
• Work with suppliers to form technical proposals to plants
• Make heat and mass balances, propose flow sheets including health and safety aspects technical-economic assessment
• Help in defining LCA & multi-criteria analysis

• Cement making process, ideally with field experience in cement operations

• Chemical Engineering degree, preferably with a PhD,
• CO2 problematics / GHG / Climate change / Sustainability
• R&D Project Management in a multicultural and multidisciplinary environment
