The Inhouse Consulting – M&A & PMO Project Manager acts as a strategic business partner to the management team of the business unit CALID Group. The future incumbent will be involved in all crucial phases of upcoming acquisitions – from Due Diligence to Post Merger Integration to assure a seamless transition into the Bruker (matrix) organization on a national and international level. This involves the following responsibilities:

  • Management and delivery of results in CALID projects of high relevance (especially Due Diligence and (Post Merger) Integration projects)
  • Coordination and collection of all relevant information about the activities of the projects and leading contract negotiations
  • Provide guidance for project management teams by developing and implementing team processes in order to ensure the workflow between involved organizations
  • Supervision on all levels (incl. IT, export control, SCM, finance etc.) that all relevant compliance standards are implemented on international scale
  • Monitor and manage complex initiatives across functional areas, businesses and regions incl. frequent KPI tracking and reporting of progress to the management team
  • Coordination of program documentation such as project reports, work plans etc. for the program team
  • Be the first point of contact for all queries and questions for the specific program
  • Act as a business partner for the internal and external stakeholders
  • Make recommendations about program’s content to improve the program work

  • Diploma or master’s degree in science, engineering and/or business administration
  • Minimum 5 to 7 years of working experience in international life science, manufacturing and/or consulting environment with specialization in M&A assignments, international projects and corporate/business development
  • Professional experience in project management (according to PMI or PRINCE2) incl. strong implementation and integration experience
  • Consulting approach, strong business acumen, hands-on and result-driven mentality
  • Excellent analytical and conceptual skills
  • Energetic, strong communicator across all hierarchical levels
  • Transformational track record in identifying, developing and executing organizational and cultural change and process improvement initiatives in a multinational environment
  • Able to cope with ambiguity and ability to make decision when not everything is known
  • Empathic and connects easily with people
  • High level user skills in MS Projects and MS Office
  • Expert knowledge of Project Management Tools
  • Business fluent language skills in German and English
  • National and international travel activities are part of the role depending on the respective assignment (incl. longer periods on-site nationally and/or internationally)
