Position Summary:

You will be part of the Product Management organisation, which contains Product Management, Cloud, Documentation, Program and Project Management. You will work in the Project Management team, which consists of 12 experienced Project Managers in four countries and report to the Senior Manager of Project Management. We are an agile delivery organization and currently implementing SAFe to scale agile across the Sitecore enterprise. We work with high professionalism, passion and trust. We value transparency, alignment and decentralized decision-making. Last but not least, we prioritize cool and fun, which characterize our team and daily work.

About the job

As an agile Project Manager, you serve as the team's coach, helping team member’s work together in the most effective manner possible, removing impediments to progress, facilitating meetings and discussions, and performing typical project management duties such as tracking progress and issues. You will work closely with a number of stakeholders within Sitecore’s product department; both some of our most experienced developers, product managers, program managers, architects, etc.

Your responsibilities

•                      Exhibits Lean-Agile leadership and mindset

•                      Help the team embrace SAFe in Sitecore, adopt and apply SAFe Practices

•                      Authority to stop and start work as prioritized by the Product Manager

•                      Motivate the project team

•                      Servant leadership that ensures and protects the team commitment

•                      Facilitating the best compromise between business and technical goals as well as immediate progress versus long term quality

•                      Shepherding the team towards the framework provided by the product delivery management team

•                      Bulldozing away impediments and escalating issues when appropriate

•                      Acting as a guardian of quality and performance

•                      Ensure cross team and organization collaboration

•                      Setting the context that enables teams to act as a self-directing team

•                      Communicate with management and other stakeholders. Help protect the team from uncontrolled injection of work

•                      Collaborate with the People Leads to align the work with the Quarterly MBO Goals for your team. 

Personal Skills:

•          You are able to work independently but also be pro-active and reach out to others if needed

•          You are structured and able to work strategically

•          You have very good people skills and can cooperate with many different people

•          You have strong drive and like to work in a busy environment

•          You have very strong communication skills

•          You have good negotiation skills

Your qualifications / Experience:

•          3+ years experience with scrum / agile development methodologies

•          3+ years experience managing Software Development projects

•          A proven track record of being able to deliver

•          Proven record in actually implementing strong scrum processes in a team

•          Understands how a good requirement looks like from an agile perspective

•          Experience from working in a multinational environment and with offshoring

•          Ability to cooperate in complex set-ups with many experts

•          Ability to create team spirit

•          Strong sense of responsibility and commitment

•          A team player with good interpersonal and communications skills

•          Very good English skills
