Job Description

As Project Manager you are responsible for the management of the overall project delivery and its resources to produce results in alignment with the Client’s and project’s requirements in a timely and cost effective manner.

The role of the Project Manager will be to:

  • Ensure all project activities are conducted in a manner that highly prioritises safety, environment, community and stakeholder relations and value for money
  • Communicate effectively with the client on matters that affect the project goals
  • Ensure overall schedules, budgets and target deliverables are achieved to a consistently high standard.
  • Manage the compilation and submission of the project progress report monthly or as required by the contract.
  • Manage all members of the project team in compliance with applicable project requirements.
  • Provide project support and input to proposals, customer presentations, and other marketing / business development activities as required.

Successful applicants will ideally display the following skills and attributes:

  • Civil Engineering degree or equivalent with a minimum of 10 years experience in transport (preferably roads)
  • Excellent people management skills including experience managing large teams across various disciplines
  • Demonstrated understanding and awareness of road and bridge design, , constructability, OH&S, environmental, community and stakeholder engagement
  • Ability to achieve consistently high standards within budget and schedule constraints
