We are currently seeking a motivated and experienced Senior Manual QA Engineer to join our growing Tech Team at Oppizi. This is a remote position open to candidates in Argentina or within the UTC-3 time zone countries.

Oppizi is the first major multi-channel player in offline performance marketing. We’ve built technology that enables tracking, scaling, and optimization of flyering campaigns. We offer five channels: Hand-to-hand (in people’s hands), Door-to-Door (in people’s mailboxes), Direct Mail (in people’s mailboxes via the national post service), Door Hangers (by leaving them on the doorknobs of residential properties or on their cars), and Sampling (by providing the target audience with relevant products). About the job

A system professional who wants to work in a collaborative environment. As an experienced Manual QA, you will have the ability to share new ideas and collaborate on all the Oppizi projects and collaborate with the entire tech team. The role will be to assist the team of engineers to release faster and to consolidate the stability of the code of the company. You will be working with different extensive environments, Platform, API, and Mobile App.

Team structure: AQA (3 members), MQA (4 members), QA Lead, UI/UX Designers (2 members), Head of Product, Product Managers (2 members), Software Engineers (10 members), and CTO

Work experience: 4 years of commercial experience working as a Manual QA Engineer

Salary range: USD 1,500 - 2,000 per month

About the role

Responsibilities:

  • Manually test web and mobile applications
  • Analyze business requirements and create test plans/test cases
  • Develop and maintain test documentation
  • Design and development of Test Cases for large and complex software applications within the scope of a broader test strategy
  • Perform manual in-sprint and pre-release testing
  • Prepare torelease deployments making sureQA ofevery release isona high level
  • Take full responsibility for the quality of part of the product
  • Make status and quality reporting in daily meetings
  • Communicate onany risks froma QA perspective that could affect the future release
  • Provide test support for the development team throughout all stages ofdevelopment
  • Bug reporting using the Bug tracking system
  • Track and accompany during the life cycle ofdiscovered bugs
  • Grant a high-quality level of delivery and maintain a customer satisfaction level
  • Contribute to automation solutions (UI/API) — with the help of the automation team
  • Take part in QA process improvements

Requirements

Technical skills and expertise:

    • Commercial experience working as a Manual QA engineer (4+ years)
    • Strong experience in testing Web-Based and Mobile (Android, iOS) applications
    • Experience with API-based testing (Postman and similar tools)
    • Excellent familiarity level with SQL, JSON, GQL
    • Experience with Jira, Confluence, Xray, Trello, and similar tools
    • Understanding of Web stack (HTML, CSS, HTTP protocol)
    • Experience with Agile/Scrum development processes in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
    • Good written and verbal English skills (Upper-Intermediate and higher)
    • Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes
    • Strong knowledge oftesting types and methodologies
    • Deep understanding ofthe Software Development life-cycles
    • Understanding the principles and standards ofgood bug reporting
    • Ability towrite clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans and test cases
    • Review and analyze requirements to create test cases and scenarios
    • Test case design inthe end-to-end integration testing
    • Ability towork independently
