About Go-To-Market Team:
The Business Technology Go-To-Market team works in close partnership with our business partners to help fuel growth and revenue goals for Workday, along with driving exceptional Customer and employee experiences. The team is responsible for developing and supporting innovative architecture-led solutions for our Marketing, Sales, Services, Customer Support & Legal business functions with Salesforce being the primary platform alongside other cutting edge platforms like SnapLogic for Integrations, Conga/Apttus for CPQ, CLM, AWS as PaaS, Coveo Search Platform, OKTA for SSO and others
Our Go-To-Market (GTM) Enterprise Applications team is currently looking for a Quality Assurance Engineer - Salesforce
As a member of the Business Technology Enterprise Application team, the Associate Quality Assurance Engineer - Salesforce will be responsible for testing Salesforce.com applications and integrations with internal and external facing systems. The candidate will be responsible for hands-on testing and will need to partner effectively with other teams in Information Systems and key business partners for our Go-To-Market function. A team player, collaboration-oriented, mindset is essential.
Minimum skills required for this job are: QA, Salesforce.com, Customer and Partner Portal, Apptus, Marketo, Xactly and other AppExchange or integrated applications are a plus.
Demonstrate extensive knowledge of quality assurance, testing and/or software development processes and methodologies.
Must have experience analyzing functional and technical requirements and mapping documents and transforming them into a comprehensive Test Plan.
Ability to create a test plan and thorough test cases with the ability to map requirements to test cases.
Must participate in reviewing the finalized business requirements and obtain clarifications from the project team.
Conduct QA test case review meetings with the project team, execute those test cases efficiently and document defects, also ensuring that the defects are then driven to closure.
Analyze test results to ensure existing functionality and interact with the development and BSA teams for resolution of defects.
Creates and maintains meaningful defect metrics to assess current status and progress against milestones and goals.
Responsible for communicating the daily progress, issues and risks with the QA Lead and project teams.
Ability to coordinate and work in an onsite-offshore model.
Support and participate in providing value added feedback to the QA team, including improving QA processes, procedures and standards.
Works with peers across the organization to ensure that specific areas of the system are tested and released on time, and meet or exceed the expectations of business partners.
Minimum 2-5 years of QA Engineer experience.
Must be willing to learn Salesforce.com technologies for the purposes of Quality assurance
Hands-on experience with test automation using the Selenium open source web application testing, preferably on salesforce.com is a plus.
Candidates must be able to effectively write test plans, scripts and cases and have experience in both manual and automated scripting environments.
Strong analytical skills in assessing user, functional and technical requirements, as well as working understanding of functional testing.
Excellent oral and written communication skills are a MUST.
Functional knowledge of CRM (Customer Relationship Management) area is a Plus
Salesforce, Apttus/Conga certifications is a Plus
