Testing our leading-edge security appliance and supporting software across multiple hardware and virtual systems including VMware, HyperV, AWS, Azure, GCE, Alibaba and many more.
Testing all areas of the Scanner Appliance functionality including:
Performing extensive and ongoing research and analysis of supported Cloud platform to ensure consistent Scanner functionality and performance.
Documentation of Scanner deployment, configuration and provisioning across various virtual platforms.
Write comprehensive test cases and be able to set and meet delivery schedules and deadlines.
Perform feature, regression, and performance testing to ensure delivery of high-quality components
Degree or equivalent in Computer Science or related fields or a combination of education and experience
The ideal candidate must have a minimum of 2 years working on Linux, virtual platforms with a focus on deploying, configuring, testing and troubleshooting.
Must have a solid working knowledge of the Linux Operating System.
Must have experience with OS-level Network configuration and troubleshooting.
Must have experience with the Hypervisor technologies like Vmware Esxi, Xen, Kvm etc.
Familiarity with any cloud technologies like AWS, GCP, AZURE, OpenStack
Client-server communications over HTTP/HTTPS
Experience with the software development life cycle in development and understand the QA process.
Experience with Atlassian tools (JIRA, Confluence)
System administration/IT skills for Linux (RHEL/CentOS) would be a significant plus.
Working knowledge of Python and/or BASH.
Prior experience with OpenSSL and cURL, and using curl to invoke server-side REST APIs
Extensive knowledge and experience with public clouds, cloud topologies, and technologies
Knowledge of various cloud-specific resources, network and security components
Security best practices for cloud infrastructures
Solid hypervisor experience (VMware, KVM, Xen)
Experience with at least one of the following databases: PostgreSQL, SQL Server, Oracle DB, MySQL, NoSQL
