We are currently seeking to hire a Service Delivery Operator to join our team in Clonskeagh, Dublin, to be part of our next generation of commerce infrastructure, services and analytics to support continued growth and customer delight.

Role Objective:

Take ownership and accountability for the quality of testing and delivery by ensuring that software used on Omnipay systems is operating according to the relevant specification; document test activities so that bugs can be reported to our Developers and ensure that re-testing can take place to confirm that problems encountered have been resolved.  Work in accordance with testing standards developed in-house and contribute to the continuous improvement in our testing standards and procedures. Drive improvements through retrospectives, ensure any inefficiencies are identified and act accordingly

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and agree test plans with Professional Services and Development teams
  • Write test cases in Jira/X-Ray, which support the test plan and identify specifically what is being tested.
  • Ensure requirements are detailed and tracked sufficiently
  • Carry out tests as specified in the test case documentation and documenting the test results.
  • Log defects on Jira/X-Ray, reporting the issue to the developers and following it up to ensure that corrective action is taken.
  • Re-test bugs to confirm that they have been corrected. Drive Defect Triage and press for speedy resolution
  • Report issues to management where these could have an impact on a major deadline
  • Gain knowledge of the acquiring business and a competence with Omnipay systems to enable the support of other groups within the organisation
  • Interact with team members and management to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the team.
  • Adhere to and contribute to company processes and procedures
  • Any other duties, which may be assigned by the Team Lead / QA Manager.

Skills, experience and qualifications:

5+ years software testing experience throughout all phases of a software testing cycle

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer/Electrical/Software Engineering or comparable fields
  • Quality focused with strong attention to detail
  • Good standard of communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Ability to schedule tasks to manage time and priorities
  • Technical hands on test delivery experience is essential
  • Experienced  with automation frameworks, python scripting, selenium
  • API testing desirable
  • Proven agile delivery
  • Self-motivated with ability to work on own initiative or as part of a team
  • Ability to work under pressure to tight deadlines, with a drive and commitment to delivery
  • Knowledge of credit card acquiring business /fintech desirable
  • Certification in ISTQB or ISEB is highly desired.
  • Experience in financial software application testing highly desired
  • Knowledge and/or experience using Jira, X-ray or other similar testing tools
  • Excellent analytical problem determination and solving skills
  • Must be data driven , KPI,  JIRA Dashboards  and trend analysis to drive improvements
  • Knowledge PL/SQL,JAVA  highly desired.
