TELUS Health is seeking a QA Analyst with Automation experience. In this role, you will be responsible for the planning, coordination, and execution of end user testing and quality assurance activities related to new clients, implementations, regular updates, or upgrades to EQ care’s services.




You will have strong knowledge of building, and maintaining a sound testing infrastructure filled with manual, and automated tests to help facilitate testing of future deployments, as the product continues to grow. You will also work hand-in-hand with the development, product, and support teams, to help understand each departments’ issues, enabling you to log, and prioritize issues and needs based on severity/impact on the product.




Here's how




  • Create, execute, and maintain test cases for all EQ Care platforms



  • Create, execute, and maintain automated tests for all EQ Care platforms



  • Analyze test results and communicate results with appropriate team members



  • Help document, and prioritize issues to facilitate resolution



  • Quickly identify test risks and propose mitigation plans



  • Collect data to illustrate progress of planning/testing for a particular feature



  • Work efficiently and simultaneously on several projects in parallel



  • Guide new team members on application processes and features



  • Provide accurate estimates for test planning, and execution of upcoming feature enhancement



  • Collaborate with the support team for problem solving



  • Collaborate with the development team for problem solving

You're the missing piece of the puzzle




  • Bachelor degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or related field, or equivalent work experience



  • 3+ years of QA experience in Software Development



  • Experience with bug management, tracking and reporting programs (i.e.



  • Experience with black, gray, white box testing



  • Experience in building automated tests



  • Experience with test case creation and test plan organization



  • Experienced in working in fast paced environments



  • Clear and effective communication skills



  • Self-driven ability to work independently



  • Strong team collaborator



  • Strong attention to detail



  • Strong problem-solving skills and an ability to think outside the box



  • Solid time management skills



Great-to-haves




  • Experience with healthcare industry a plus
