We are looking for a software quality assurance program manager to lead up the strategic planning and execution of various programs that will drive the quality outcomes ensuring an outstanding customer experience. You will work with a broad array of stakeholders ensuring success in areas such as end-to-end testing, performance, test automation, coverage and customer feedback. You’ll need the following skills and relevant experience to be successful in this role:

As the Software Quality Assurance Program manager, you will
Apply advanced subject matter knowledge to solve complex business issues specifically pertaining to quality.
Ensure correct roles are positioned to perform the correct testing at the correct time i.e. test creation, test execution, test result analysis
Optimize solution automation testing and coverage
Responsible for developing and continuously improving program and coordinating internal partner test needs within DCE
Identify and resolve E2E testing gaps and communicate to DCE leaders and orgs as appropriate: process, personnel, tools
Coordinate and manage E2E internal employee validation testing in conjunction with solution tracks, enthusiastically promoting test automation
Identify opportunities for proxy validation testing process and execution (internal HPE staff on behalf of customers and channel partners) ongoing engagement, and closed-loop learning in conjunction with solution tracks
Understand platform leader’s recommendations on improvements to overall delivery pipeline capability and work to meet those objectives.
Work on complex problems where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of multiple factors.
Leads and/or provides expertise to functional project teams, participating in cross-functional initiatives.
Act as a quality expert, providing direction and guidance to process improvements and establishing policies, making sure they gain traction and drive change.
Frequently represent the organization to external customers/clients.
Exercise significant independent judgment within broadly defined policies and practices to determine best method for accomplishing work and achieving quality assurance objectives.
Lead project teams of other quality engineers and internal and outsourced development and manufacturing partners responsible for the design and integration of quality requirements, processes, and practices into the development, design, manufacturing, and continuous improvement of products and solutions.
Manage and expand relationships with internal and outsourced partners for quality, product development and release.
Review and evaluate product and solution designs and production activities for potential quality issues
Provide tangible feedback based on results and root-cause analysis leading to design and implementation solutions to improve product quality and mitigate risk of failures.
Be a champion for innovation and integration of new technologies and quality initiatives into projects and activities across R&D.
Education and Experience
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent.
Lean, Six Sigma black belt or equivalent preferred
Agile at Scale
6-10+ years’ experience
Knowledge and Skills
Extensive experience with using engineering tools and software packages to test, design, and evaluate products and processes
Excellent analytical, statistics, and problem-solving skills.
Evaluating forms of empirical and root-cause analysis, modelling, testing methodologies, and quality standards to validate product designs, specifications, and processes.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills; mastery in English
Ability to effectively communicate quality architectures, plans, proposals, and results, and negotiate options at senior management and executive levels
