About us

NSW In-Home Childcare Services (NSWIHCS) is a proactive service committed to supporting families and children throughout NSW. We do this by providing an educative model delivering early education and care programs, which reflect best practice, in the family’s home environment. NSWIHCS was established in 2001.

We are currently seeking a Marketing and Recruitment Officer to fill a new and exciting position within our organisation.

About the role

This is a great opportunity for a marketing and recruitment officerwho is self-motivated, with excellent interpersonal and organisational skills to join our friendly team.  As part of the exciting role you will be responsible for:

  • Recruitment of a large number of educators through campaigning and marketing
  • Using your specialist market expertise to rewrite our recruitment material and redesign our recruitment strategies
  • Preparing case studies of families currently in receipt of the service
  • Increasing the presence of NSWIHCS in popular online educator forums

We are looking for someone:

  • to develop a recruitment campaign for In Home Care educators from scratch within a short timeframe
  • to design, execute and deliver the recruitment campaign within a set budget
  • who is focused on outcomes and can assess the real value of the campaign
  • who thinks creatively, can identify with their target audience and can reach them in the most engaging and cost-efficient way
  • who is a strategic planner and uses data to market effectively

Skills and Requirements

  • Be able to deliver results in challenging circumstances
  • Ability to work autonomously and be a great team communicator
  • Adapt quickly to change and bring a fast-paced and result-focussed drive to the team
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Tertiary qualification in recruitment, marketing or related field, or relevant work experience
  • Valid Australian drivers’ licence and reliable vehicle
  • Experience in or knowledge of the early childhood education and care sector is desirable
