Regional Marketing Director (ERP /HCM) – North EMEA    

The market that Oracle is operating in has undergone massive changes. To become a leader in the cloud market, Oracle has to significantly increase our presence in the market. Marketing has a key role to play in building Oracle’s brand image as a Cloud vendor, and driving demand for our Cloud products.

Oracle EMEA is seeking a Marketing Director to manage the Oracle North Applications (SaaS) marketing team.

Oracle EMEA is looking for an experienced marketer with strong leadership skills to head-up the field marketing team for North , responsible for marketing ERP/HCM (SaaS) solutions to Named and Oracle Direct accounts.

As part of the EMEA Marketing team, this role involves working closely with key stakeholders including Sales VPs and their teams, Sales Development Managers, Digital Demand Generation, Oracle Direct, Field Marketing managers, Corporate and Product Marketing, Advertising, PR, Social Media, Operations, and Alliances & Channels.

You will operate a multicultural, geographically distributed team, providing strategic guidance in alignment to business objectives, and driving an agile organization. The role repor ts directly to the ERP/HCM Marketing VP for EMEA.

Responsibilities:

  • Define and implement an integrated marketing plan across North EMEA, organizing and executing demand generation activities that generate new prospects as well as providing leadership for creating and accelerating opportunities for the sales team.
  • Drive awareness and demand for Oracle’s ERP and HCM products.
  • Delivery the marketing KPIs for the region, including increased account engagement, increased contactable customers, and pipeline generated and influenced.
  • Form direct relationships with your sales stakeholders, ensuring sales priorities are met within your marketing activities.
  • Allocate marketing resources and budget to be deployed using the most appropriate marketing mix for the region.
  • Work closely with other stakeholders that will help you meet your objectives e.g. the digital marketing team, BDG, customer marketing team, events team and social media team.
  • Define the marketing plan and manage budgets and scheduling
  • Oversee execution of the marketing plan.
  • Communicate regular progress updates to your key stakeholders.
  • Lead a team geographically distributed across the region to deliver the required results, providing direction and mentoring to your team.
  • Perform effective performance management:  set clear goals for all staff, engage employees, provide regular performance feedback, and work with team on their development plans.
  • Implement organizational changes in line with changing business & market needs.

Qualifications:

  • A strong track record driving pipeline and awareness in the EMEA Cloud market.
  • Business acumen, perceived as key partner to Sales.
  • Deep knowledge of Marketing and Sales disciplines and processes with a focus on Modern Marketing practices (ABM, Social Media, Digital/web, SEO/SEM, Marketing Automation, Content led Marketing, Inbound, Personas, Buyers journey, integration)
  • Driven, High Energy, Can-Do attitude
  • Strong influencer and relationship-building skills, great determination and drive, and excellent execution skills are required to ensure that you can deliver high return marketing plans and strategies.
  • Spokesperson, Strong written and verbal communications skills in English.
  • Data driven and analytical.
  • Budget & project Management skills.
  • Ability to navigate large, complex & matrixed organisations.
  • Seniority to address Oracle executives.

Locations:

  • Within EMEA, preferably Benelux, Nordics, Germany.
  • Ideally candidates should be Director level and above.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • 10+  years of marketing experience
