Responsible for determining and implementing the regional marketing plan for Infectious Diseases (ID) and Oncology (FISH) based on global and area marketing plan and including requirements from regional and local markets
Designs and ensures implementation of regional launch plans
Creates business cases for new product and sample type claim developments
Manages for the regional marketing budget, proofs efficient use of budget through ROI
Performs regular regional market analysis in terms of sales, relevant market trends and competitor activities and draws the respective strategic conclusions and presenting recommendations to leadership.
Works closely with the regional managing director as well as the country managers, has a deep understanding on how to support sales organizations for success
Determines and implements regional marketing initiatives to achieve sales targets and ensure return on investment (ROI) of marketing tactics
Fosters sharing successes and experience between the countries of the regions
Proactively shares insights across the business (at region and country level) to influence decisions, and applies insights consistently to meaningfully differentiate our business
Helps to develop and implement digital solutions for the labs
Scientific background with additional experience in marketing and/or business administration
Minimum of 7-8 years’ experience in local and regional marketing in the laboratory diagnostic sector
Ability to work efficiently, self-motivate and operate with a minimum level of supervision
Proven track record in successful creation and execution of marketing plans with proven impact
Excellent strategic thinking: understanding of the regional molecular market, strong in market analysis with the ability to draw the right conclusions to decide on successful marketing strategies, creation of business cases ultimately resulting in new incremental business
Project Management Skills, able to take initiatives from conception to implementation stage
Experience with Laboratory-Information-System (LIS) and use of digital data in diagnostics is a plus
Experience in applying a broad range of marketing tools successfully including digital communication
Ability to build strong relationship with local, regional and global peers. Cultural awareness
Can cope well with working in a matrix structure, high percentage of travelling ( up to 50 %) and is excellent in efficient prioritization of tasks
German and English language skills are a must; additional European language (French or Italian) is a plus
