About the opportunity
With a brand new state of the art Maternity Ward, Dubbo Health Service are seeking experienced midwives to enhance their growing team. The registered midwife is an integral part of the multidisciplinary maternity team providing woman centered care that is focused on the woman’s individual needs, expectations and aspirations to achieve optimal pregnancy outcomes for the woman and her family.

Where you'll be working                                                             
Dubbo Hospital is a major rural referral facility on the edge of the western plains of outback Australia. It is a rapidly growing hospital providing critical care, specialist medical inpatient and outpatient services, surgery, mental health and many specialised allied health and medical outreach services. 

The hospital has had significant investment over the last 5 years including $91.3M for the completed clinical services building that features dialysis, maternity, operating theatres and day surgeries. A further $150M is also committed for a new 34 bed surgical unit (completed) and work started on new clinical building that will house the emergency department, medical imaging, ambulatory care services and critical care.  A $35M cancer centre is also underway.
