An opportunity currently exists for enthusiastic and highly experienced Registered Nurses to join our nursing team at Dubbo Health Service. Where you'll be working
Dubbo Hospital is a major rural referral facility on the edge of the western plains of outback Australia. It is a rapidly growing hospital providing critical care, specialist medical inpatient and outpatient services, surgery, mental health and many specialised allied health and medical outreach services.
The hospital has had significant investment over the last six years, with over $275M invested to build a state of the art new acute hospital:- including dialysis, maternity, operating theatres and day surgeries, surgical inpatient units, critical care units, ambulatory care, emergency department and medical imaging. The final building works will be completed in early 2021. The Western Cancer Centre Dubbo is also under construction, to offer holistic cancer services to the Western Region, offering Chemotherapy, Radiotherapy services, and for the first time a Positron Emission Tomography – Computed Tomography (PET/CT) Scan will be available in a regional location.
