Position Summary

Registered Nurse (Grade 2) & Endorsed Enrolled Nurse - COVID-19 Screening / Vaccination Clinics

  • Opportunity for enthusiastic RN and EEN's keen to develop their skills further
  • Work will predominantly be in Vaccination Clinics (as well as COVID Screening Clinic and Rapid Response Team)
  • COVID-19 Vaccination Training available
  • Fixed term position (initially to December 2021)
  • Classification & Salary will be dependent on qualification & experience (as per EBA)

Quality and Patient Information provides leadership and support for quality improvement, patient safety and experience and health information services across the organisation. The division, through both Health Information Services and Quality have key roles in medical record management, clinical documentation, Freedom of Information, patient safety, quality improvement, risk management, external reporting and compliance requirements. There is a strong strategic and operational focus of promoting quality improvement, supporting the organisation to review incidents, data and systems to improve patient outcomes and efficiency of the business.

Selection Criteria Essential: 01.Current registration as Registered Nurse or Endorsed Enrolled Nurse with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency, Nursing and Midwifery Board Australia

Essential: 02.Demonstrated knowledge of the ANMC competency standards and Codes of Practice/Ethics

Essential: 03.Demonstrated clinical knowledge and skills relevant to the COVID-19 Clinic or willingness to learn

Essential: 04.Demonstrated clinical knowledge and qualification relevant to COVID-19 vaccinations

Essential: 05.Demonstrated knowledge of current issues, trends and research in clinical nursing and particularly in the area of COVID-19 vaccination and the prevention of transmission of COVID-19

Essential: 06.Ability to work as part of an inter-disciplinary team as well as independently, with an ability to prioritise, set goals and objectives

Essential: 07.To have completed or be willing to complete the mandated COVID-19 Training modules

Essential: 08.Ability to interact and communicate with a diverse range of people at all levels
