1+ years of breakfast serving and bartending experience, preferably in a luxury hotel environment.
Ability to work weekends and holidays
Exceptional knowledge of food and beverage including wine, beer, spirits, and craft cocktails
Strong business acumen and creativity to ensure all expenses are controlled and revenue is generated according to budget
What would my job responsibilities be?
Be responsible for creating epic guest experiences by:
Possessing and implementing working knowledge of LQA, Four Seasons, and COYLE dining standards for restaurant and bar
Resolving guest conflicts with generosity and grace, and empowering other employees to do the same
Going above and beyond for the guest and their experiences, and encouraging other employees to do the same
Creating and facilitating the creating/maintaining of seasonal and monthly cocktail menus/features
Ensure facilities are within working order, including that all guest facing facilities are prepared to Four Seasons quality standards, by:
Opening and/or closing the restaurant and bar to standard
Ensuring cleanliness standards are adhered to
Reporting and following up with non functional or not to standard equipment and areas with proper departments or management
Maintain, share, and enforce working knowledge of:
All hotel areas and events
Specific menu items, both food and beverage, including cocktail preparations and mise en place needs for the bar
General food and beverage knowledge including classic cocktail preparations
Take ownership of and enforce bar prep lists and back bar pars by:
Preparing the bar prep list daily, and ensure any immediate needs on the prep list are executed in a timely manner to avoid shortages and delays
Ensuring all liquors listed on the menu are present on the back bar, and all appropriate back-up bottles of liquor are present in the appropriate areas in the bar.
Reporting to management and communicate to the staff any discrepancies/outs
Perform multiple F&B jobs without support, such as food running, bartending, hosting, and serving as business demands
Train new employees per Four Seasons Standards
